Pick up a clue sheet from the Albert Dock Visitor Information Centre and then follow the clues to find the baskets of colourful chocolate Easter Eggs hidden around the Dock. Find a basket and you'll get a handful of eggs.

Saturday 30th March 2013 Crosby Adventure Centre Off Cambridge Road, Waterloo, Merseyside L22 1RR Over 2000 people will gather to attempt to break the world record for the biggest canoe raft. Olympic Bronze Medalist Dan Purvis has joined the Event Patrons for Cancer Challenge Can -U? World Rafting Record 2013. This enormous challenge is being led by Michelle Marsh (aged 49, from Crosby) who was recently treated at Linda McCartney Centre for Breast Cancer. Michelle was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer on 6th August 2010.

Sacred Heart School Liverpool Road Crosby Wednesday 14th November 2012 18.30pm -21.30pm St Joseph's Hospice (Jospice) are holding a new experience in Christmas Shopping. A variety of stalls, including Clinique, Body Shop, hand made chocolates, home made cakes, hand made jewellery, hand made cards, vintage items, handbags. bottle and fun tombolas, and many many more. Entertainment, raffle, mulled wine and mince pies are on offer Santa will also be attending.

This year there is a wide selection of real ales from across and especially Scotland. The food this year is supplied by the Pioneer. There will be a free drivers bar and all monies raised will go to local charities.

Celebrations on Merseyside after Daniel Purvis won an Olympic bronze medal with the British men's gymnastic team on Monday night. The 21-year-old was just seven years old when he started training at Southport YMCA.Daniel and his team have become the first British men's gymnastic team to win an Olympic medal since 1912. Southport YMCA members and friends celebrated the team's success China won the gold medal, with Team GB initially in second place.Japan was originally placed in fourth, but moved up to second after an appeal, leaving Daniel and his team with the bronze.
